"As a first time homeowner, shopping for homeowners and flood insurance was quite overwhelming initially. My realtor recommended this company and I got in contact with Matt. After dealing with numerous insurance brokers previously, Matt made the entire process so much smoother. He is extremely easy to communicate with, his lines are always open for questions and truly goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. Not only does he communicate with you but also ensures your lender (if you’re using one) has all of the appropriate documentation required for a smooth closing day. If I could give Matt and this company 6 stars, I would. I highly recommend anyone shopping for insurance to reach out to this company."

"Susanne left me hanging with the flood of my vehicle and the reinstatement of my new vehicle. I had to switch offices. I have text giving her my vin number and she never insured the new vehicle. She was very rude and had the attitude I could call the main State Farm number rather than talk with her for the claim. She was rude and disrespectful during a stressful time.when replacing the flooded vehicle I tried to get a quote on 3 potential vehicles letting her know I was shopping that day. Never got back to me. I was waiting on her for a few hours called back and had to completely go through it again with a new rep. Hours wasted waiting while thinking she was working on it. I would not recommend this office."

I was told you own a hair salon in Sarasota so I am sure you have had some complaints by unhappy customers who did not have all the facts. Your review is one of those complaints, not having all the facts. So you have a clear understanding of our claim process and Suzanne’s role. Suzanne’s job is to put the policyholder together with our claim partners, then monitor. Suzanne may have the toughest job in the agency because claims are an emotional and stressful time for the policyholder. She has been in that role for over a year and a half. I have never had one complaint until yours, matter of fact I have had nothing but compliments on Suzanne. She has no authority to make any decision on whether a flooded car is totaled or not. She also does not quote new cars. That is done by our sales folks. Your decision to transfer agencies I totally endorse. . I am available to discuss at any time."

"My recent statements from State Farm for my vehicle showed an increase way above what was expected and I discovered that the wrong driver was listed as the primary driver and most of my discounts were no longer listed. I called Jim Cornwell's office and was able to speak with Gloria. She researched the situation, found the problems and called me back with the results. I was very pleased as the corrections are lowering my bill substantially. With my policy corrected, she checked my husband's to be sure his policy was correct. All through the process Gloria was very knowledgeable, called me back when she said she would, and got the problems resolved. She also explained how everything would be resolved going forward. Gloria was very pleasant, friendly and got my questions answered promptly. She is an asset to Jim Cornwell's office! Thank you, Leslie Hickland"

"Citizen's Insurance was 3 days away from permanently canceling my homeowner's policy and the State Farm agent I was assigned (my long term agent had passed away suddenly unfortunately) wasn't helpful in assisting me to prevent it. After reading all the positive reviews on-line, I stopped by Jin's office as a last resort. Jim listened to my problem and immediately called Laurie in to help. She knew what the issue was (my flood insurance limits were wrong) and set out to help me solve it. Jim then brought in Matt, who was able to make several phone calls to help. Between Laurie and Matt, my policy was reinstated today! They are my heroes! I was treated with kindness, respect, patience, empathy, and genuine care by both of them, Jim, and everyone I encountered in his office. This was an unexpectedly wonderful experience. I highly recommend Jim's agency to anyone who needs Insurance and wants to be treated like they are appreciated and truly valued for being a customer."
